Washability tester
Robust, easy-to-use, automatic device for determining the properties of painted, plasticised, polished, tinted surfaces, etc. Also suitable for testing plastics, woodpanels, kitchentops, white goods etc.
The automatic washability test allows to perform an abrasion and washability scrub test on coated panels to define the resistance of paint, varnish or related products to scratching, wear and colour- and gloss loss due to wet or dry scrub abrasion. Simulating everyday wear from cleaning actions or general use.
In the paints and coating, Surface industry, Laboratories, and Detergents industries, this test is used as a "pass/fail" control, testing a sample at a specific number of cycles, or defining a minimum number of cycles for wear to appear.
A microprocessed electrical controller with a high precision motor, together with a modern and functional design, allows very simple control by means of a joystick and a large display.
